Shergarh. Swami Vivekananda Government Model School, Shergarh, successfully organized the Cluster-Level Maths Olympiad, bringing together young mathematical minds from across the Jodhpur Cluster. The academic event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of nine Government Model Schools, who showcased their logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
In the Junior Category, Govind Bhakar and Rohit Parihar from Government Model School, Osian, secured the First Position with an impressive performance. Government Model School, Bap, achieved Second Position, while the host school, Government Model School, Shergarh, earned the Third Position, making the occasion even more special for the organizers.
In the Senior Category, Kaushalya Kanwar and Tolaram from Government Model School, Bap, claimed the First Position. The Second Position was secured by Government Model School, Bilara, while Government Model School, Mandor, stood Third.
During the program, Principal Devendra Thanvi of Government Model School, Phalodi, highlighted the importance of mathematics in developing logical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving competence among students. He emphasized that such academic competitions play a crucial role in strengthening overall educational quality.
Principal Jagdish Bishnoi of Government Model School, Osian, noted that Maths Olympiads motivate students to perform better in a competitive academic environment, while also building confidence and discipline.
The host school’s Principal Shivdutt Charan expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participating schools, judges, and support staff for their valuable cooperation, which ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
The event was efficiently coordinated by Senior Mathematics Teacher Ram Kala Kumari, while Tilokchand Suthar conducted the stage proceedings with confidence and clarity.
Students securing First Position in both junior and senior categories will now represent the Jodhpur Cluster at the State-Level Maths Olympiad, scheduled to be held on 22 December at Government Model School, Rashmi (Chittorgarh).
