Swami Vivekanand Government Model School, Shergarh, organized a grand Diwali Decoration Idea Competition today. The school campus was illuminated with lamps, colors, and creativity. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their artistic talents through various decoration events.

In the Matki Decoration Competition, Madhu and Jyoti secured the first position, while Devilal and Ramesh bagged the second.
In the Diya Decoration Competition, Dimple Panwar won first place, and Khushboo Bhati stood second.
In the Diya Stand Decoration Competition, the team of Usha, Saroj, Jasoda, Divya, Sarita, and Poonam achieved first place, while Yusuf Pathan, Gauri, and Bablu’s team secured second place.
In the Bandhanwar (Wall Hanging) Decoration Competition, the team of Mangeshwari, Rockista, Madhu, and Divya stood first, and Lakshita, Chetna, Mohini, Nirma, and Sugna’s team stood second.

All competitions were conducted under the able guidance of Art and Craft In-charge Mrs. Ramkala Kumari and Co-Incharge Mrs. Hemlata Sharma.
The judging panel included Akshay Vaishnav, Hariom Meena, Mukesh Kumar Bunkar, and Tilok Chand Suthar.

On this occasion, Principal Mr. Shivdatt Charan addressed the students and said —

“Such competitions nurture creativity, aesthetic sense, and respect for cultural values among students. It is heartening to see them beautifully blending tradition with innovation.”

At the end of the event, winners were awarded certificates and prizes. The entire school community celebrated Diwali with enthusiasm, unity, and creative spirit.
