On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Swami Vivekananda Government Model School, Shergarh, organized a series of creative and cultural competitions to celebrate the spirit of tradition and creativity. Under the guidance of Art and Craft in-charge Ms. Ramkala Kumari and co-in-charge Ms. Hemlata Sharma, events such as Rakhi Making, Greeting Card Making, and Thali Decoration were conducted with great enthusiasm.

Rakhi Making Competition
First Prize: Dushyant (Class 7) and Daksh (Class 6)
Second Prize: Bhavana (Class 7), Preeti and Dev (Class 6)
Third Prize: Jyoti (Class 9)
Greeting Card Making Competition
First Prize: Saphal (Class 8)
Second Prize: Sonia Pawar (Class 7)
Third Prize: Poonam Kanwar and Tanu Kanwar (Class 9)
Thali Decoration Competition
All four school houses—Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, and Swami Vivekananda—performed exceptionally well and were jointly awarded first place.
The school premises were filled with a festive atmosphere of joy, harmony, and a vibrant display of Indian cultural traditions throughout the day. The Principal congratulated all the winners and stated that such activities not only nurture students’ creativity but also promote teamwork, cultural awareness, and national values.
The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners. All teaching staff and students were present to witness and participate in the celebrations.
